چکیده

A total of 50 root colonising bacterial endophytes were identified from a medicinal plant in this investigation (Barleria lupulina), and characterized based on morphologically selected isolates, BLR41 Gram-negative motile, rod-shaped BLR45 was Gram-positive, rod-shaped, light yellow color. The isolate motile the positive for indole. strains citrate, amylase, protease, lipase. Among all exhibited higher enzymatic test amylase lipase, protease. Furthermore, PGP efficacy as maximum production zinc phosphate solubilization BLR45. Solubilization highest (2.80 μg/mL) obtained by BLR41, followed BLR23 then BLR35. level (2.60 recorded with BLR45, BLR07 BLR18. consortium performed better results than individual inoculation. Bacillus australimaris Enterobacter kobei following 16S rRNA sequencing. all, seed germination induced 93% BLR41+BLR45, compared to control (T1). An increase shoot length 30% treatment BLR41+BRL45, (54%), (35%), respectively. On other hand, mixed cultures, showed an increased fresh weight dry 65% 58%. findings study indicate that B. E. significantly enhances growth Pot experiment properties.

Genome Sequence of the Plant Growth Promoting Endophytic Bacterium Enterobacter sp. 638

Enterobacter sp. 638 is an endophytic plant growth promoting gamma-proteobacterium that was isolated from the stem of poplar (Populus trichocarpaxdeltoides cv. H11-11), a potentially important biofuel feed stock plant. The Enterobacter sp. 638 genome sequence reveals the presence of a 4,518,712 bp chromosome and a 157,749 bp plasmid (pENT638-1). Genome annotation and comparative genomics allowe...

Plant Growth-Promoting Bacteria: Mechanisms and Applications

The worldwide increases in both environmental damage and human population pressure have the unfortunate consequence that global food production may soon become insufficient to feed all of the world's people. It is therefore essential that agricultural productivity be significantly increased within the next few decades. To this end, agricultural practice is moving toward a more sustainable and e...

Isolation and characterization of plant growth promoting endophytic bacteria from the rhizome of Zingiber officinale

Endophytes, by residing within the specific chemical environment of host plants, form unique group of microorganisms. Microbially unexplored medicinal plants can have diverse and potential microbial association. The rhizome of ginger is very remarkable because of its metabolite richness, but the physiological processes in these tissues and the functional role of associated microorganisms remain...

Isolation of Endophytic Bacteria from Green Gram and Study on Their Plant Growth Promoting Activities

A total of twenty five endophytic bacteria were isolated from green gram Vigna radiata (L.) plant. Four isolates which have shown better response for plant growth promoting effects on green gram plants were used as Plant Growth Promoting Bacteria (PGPB) in this study. It has been detected that up to 40% of the genomic 16S rRNA of isolated bacteria belongs to the Azotobacter genus. The result fo...

Antagonistic endophytic bacteria associated with nodules of soybean (Glycine max L.) and plant growth-promoting properties.

A total of 276 endophytic bacteria were isolated from the root nodules of soybean (Glycine max L.) grown in 14 sites in Henan Province, China. The inhibitory activity of these bacteria against pathogenic fungus Phytophthora sojae 01 was screened in vitro. Six strains with more than 63% inhibitory activities were further characterized through optical epifluorescence microscopic observation, sequ...
